This new look for the Blogger website seems good, much more streamlined and uncluttered. But onto other matters now. I'm going to take a moment here to put this on record: I don't like my roommate anymore and I'll just leave it at that.
The past week has been all right. It feels just like the end of last September, the end of the first month of exchange. But this time, it feels a lot less "exciting and new". Honestly, the charm of Korea has worn off now and I miss home; not badly, it just feels like it's time to leave.
I just noticed, 1 week from today in three months, I'll be home: Jul 6th.

As for classes, they're good and interesting, also planning for my 4th trip to Japan at the end of my exchange so I'm trying to budget and save like crazy now.

Other than those things, I don't have anything interesting to report.

Day 222, 223, 224, 225, 226, 227

Finally something interesting to write about. Me and Alex the frenchmen went to the War Memorial museum of Korea yesterday, and it was quite interesting. I had expected the museum to be only about the Korean War, but apparently it was about every major conflict/war Korea had ever been in. And the museum itself was extremely large. It looked like the Korean War museum in Pyongyang, big and grand. Me and Alex barely finished the entire museum, and we had taken the entire afternoon, but it was very informing. Personally, it felt nationalistic, no where near the one in Pyongyang of course, but I guess it's to be expected from places like this. So, that's it for this post, will be heading to a French restaurant tonight for dinner, the same one from last year with the crepes. This time I'll have sausage and fries though!

Don't really have much to write about again. Unlike last month at this time...I can't believe it's already been a month since China and North Korea, it feels only like yesterday.
I am really enjoying my classes here now, especially the profs who make it fun and attentative. I really like the prof in Korean History, Dr. Hong. He's very good to talk about Korean social issues and history and another wide range of topics.  He even wants to have lunch with his students too.I'm hoping to keep in touch with him well after the class and exchange have ended. I wish there were profs like that back in Calgary...maybe there are but I've yet to encounter any.

Oh well, there is less than 4 months left on this exchange. I still can't believe it. Time went by so fast, since I remember my first day here so clearly, like it was yesterday.

I don`t really have too much to write about again. The new semester has begun and I am enjoying the history and political type classes about Korea very much. It`s too bad I won`t be in a Korean language class this semester, since the intermediate level was a bit too high for me, but I plan on continuing Korean on my own. Other than that, there really isn`t that much too say.

Day 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206

Well I don't know where to start off this post. The new semester has begun and seems like a slow start. I'll admit it did feel like the first day in August, but only for a day. Too used to everything here now. 
It's good seeing the new exchange students though. Makes the dorms less quiet :P Total of 116 exchange students, including the old ones from last semester.  
Still a little surprised to see so many from China, they make up at least a quarter of the entire exchange students. 


I still can't believe how fast time is flying by. In 19 days, it's the final 3 month mark of this exchange. However, I don't think I will go and see many more things in Korea or Seoul, well maybe one more trip to Busan. But I need to save up for Japan at the end now.
